The Anglican Mission in the Americas has launched Churches for the Sake of Others... or C4SO. We're growing churches from the mission field backward. Which means...we recognize that populations have unique populations and varying contexts. What works organically in Costa Mesa and Boise will be uniquely different than Reno and San Francisco.
A unique faith fingerprint.Each church will have its own individual faith fingerprint based upon it's context and built upon ancient Anglican tradition and spiritual formation. Paying attention to context.C4SO sees Jesus Christ as a transformer of culture and holds to an incarnational theology. We uphold the ancient creeds of the church with a strong missional emphasis upon the poor and needy. Missional engagement begins with church planters living within their context and listening to the people in their communities. In turn, the C4SO leadership will be listening to the individual churches that emerge.
