C4SO and Always Forward, the church planting arm of the Anglican Church in North America, are hosting a C4SO Church Planting Boot Camp. This will be a small group of about 20 people, and we will take COVID procautions to ensure a safe gathering for all.

What:
A 2.5-day Church Planting Boot Camp for planters in the prelaunch phase, church plant residents, people interested in planting, and / or churches who want to or are planning to plant a church. Lay leaders welcomed.

When:
November 11-13, 2021

We recommend that attendees fly into Nashville on November 10. Boot camp will begin Thursday morning, November 11, continue all day Friday, and end Saturday morning before C4SO’s Annual Diocesan Convention at 10:30 am CST (with an option to watch the Convention together with other Boot Camp participants).

Franklin, TN

Why:

  • To resource planters in the launch phase
  • To give serious candidates a full picture of the church planting process

Cost:
$500 per church planting couple and $300 per team member. Meals are provided. Participants are responsible for their own travel and housing. 

Curriculum:
The 4 C’s of Church Planting (developed in partnership with Always Forward)

  • Conviction—The uncompromisable certainty that church planting is a biblical mandate for the church.
  • Culture—The unwritten values, assumptions, expectations, tolerances and practices create an environment for the flourishing of church planting.
  • Construction—The systems and structures needed for the support of church planting.
  • Collaboration—Working together locally, ecumenically and within our province for the work of church planting.
