One of C4SO’s priorities is raising up leaders of color who are called to senior leadership at a church. This Black History Month, the Rev. Teesha Hadra, Rector of Church of the Resurrection L.A., interviews up-and-coming leader of color Tashara Angelle, a curate at Resurrection South Austin. Tashara was certain she didn’t want to be a pastor and opted for a career in public education. But 13 years later, she’s in her second year of seminary and beginning a curacy at Resurrection. Hear Tashara’s inspiring story of changing her mind and surrendering to God’s call.
