C4SO was formed in 2013 by Bishop Todd Hunter, in cooperation with priests and parishes temporarily resident in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. In 2023, we celebrate our 10th anniversary. Thanks be to God!

A Church Planting Movement

C4SO began as a church planting movement in 2009 in the Anglican Mission in the Americas (now The Anglican Mission in America), under the provincial oversight of Rwanda. Bishop Chuck Murphy, AMiA’s founder, asked Bishop Todd to help him plant “Three Streams” Anglican churches on the West Coast.

C4SO Today

We now unite 51 churches and 165 clergy located in California, Texas, the Midwest, the East and the Northwest, organized by Regional Deaneries. Our churches offer a Spirit-led variety of worship experiences—from very traditional vestments, music and liturgy to a much more relaxed and contemporary vibe. As a diocese, we seek to establish outposts of Jesus’ person, word and power in the midst of a struggling humanity.

Help Us Celebrate!

We will celebrate our 10th anniversary at the Clergy Conference and throughout the year. Join us in thanking God for his goodness! Been around a while? Share your favorite memory of C4SO. New to the diocese? Share what you love about the C4SO family.
