Episode: Teesha Hadra: A Healing Resurrection
Our “Healing Lent” series finishes today with an episode on the resurrection of Jesus (a few days early) and how to move into Eastertide with a sense of resiliency and joy, even while we continue to grapple with the losses and grief of the pandemic.
Our guest today is the Rev. Teesha Hadra, the (still fairly new) Rector at Church of the Resurrection in LA. Teesha practiced law for nearly seven years before leaving to begin full time ministry in 2013. Teesha received an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and served as the Executive Pastor at Rez while she was completing her degree. After graduating from Fuller, Teesha served as a Chaplain at a Level I trauma center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she provided pastoral care to patients and their families of all walks in life in the midst of crisis.
Teesha also serves with our diocesan initiative on diversity and inclusion, the Revelation 7:9 Task Force. She co-authored Black & White: Disrupting Racism One Friendship at a Time with her friend, John Hambrick.
