Every working pastor or church planter knows that the moral and ethical playing field for ministry has changed and is still evolving rapidly. We often feel confused or impotent in the face of both the change and the increasing disrespect for Christianity. Our way forward is rooted in the life and vision of Jesus Christ. Dr. Richard Hays, Dean and the George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament at Duke Divinity School, will be with us at our C4SO retreat this fall to help us consider our most pressing concerns about the interface of Jesus’ vision and contemporary culture.
