The C4SO Clergy Conference 2025
More than ever, ministry requires a specific set of carefully honed skills. Some of them we learn in seminary, but others we must cultivate in real time to engage a post-Christian society with complex cultural and political realities. Join us to learn from seasoned C4SO leaders how to skillfully engage key areas of our ever-changing ministry contexts for the sake of others.
As we do at each Clergy Conference, we will hold an Ordination Service on Thursday evening. Watch the livestream.
Seminars
Pastoring People Toward a
Biblical Sexual Ethic
Led by Erin Moniz and Bishop Todd Hunter
Pastoring From the Missional Power of Our Three-Streams Tradition
Led by Kris McDaniel and Ashley Mathews
Dates
April 30 – May 2, 2025
The Conference begins on Wednesday, April 30 at 4:00 p.m., and concludes at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 2. Tentative schedule.
All times are Central Time.
Why a Conference?
C4SO’s annual clergy gatherings alternate between a retreat format focused on personal growth and a conference format focused on professional growth. In 2025, we are hosting a conference.
At the conference, we ask you to:
- Book your own lodging.
- Bring your spouse, staff and anyone interested in C4SO (if desired).
- Pack a cassock-alb and a red stole for the Ordination Service and Reaffirmation of Ordination Vows.
Forums
Similar-sized churches will learn skills to address their most common ministry challenges.

If you haven’t yet experienced the hospitality of Christ Church, you’re in for a treat! One church with two congregations (Overland Park and Mission), Christ Church is a prime example of living a generous life—with their time, abilities and resources—by giving of themselves for the sake of others. Plus, the Rev. Patrick Wildman’s world-class fish fry is now a diocesan tradition.
