Get to Know Eric

What interests you in the role of Director of Administration?
Initially, I was drawn to the core values and culture of C4SO. Having visited four C4SO churches over the years, the diversity of the communities within the diocese was a major contributing factor. Also, the tenets of C4SO’s mission and the work that continually seeks to be done in areas all over the country really calls for a collective effort that I want to be a part of.

What has equipped and prepared you for this role?
On a personal level, I’ve spent my whole life watching my dad serve as a minister. The ins and outs of “church life” seem like a natural extension, almost as if embedded in my DNA. From a professional perspective, my experience working in education over the last decade has been extremely multifaceted and ever-changing, even from day to day. This has nurtured within me the ability to flex and adapt when necessary, whether that be between simple tasks or complex environments.

What are you looking forward to most about working for C4SO?
I look forward to joining the team and finding ways to effectively continue the mission of C4SO by applying my unique perspectives and wide-ranging skill set. The opportunity to collaborate with those in both the office and diocese excites me.
