During C4SO’s Clergy Professional Development Month each April, we give our clergy a chance to learn valuable skills to enhance what they already know and do every day. We offer one expert-led training for clergy per year to resource them for healthy ministry.

While these training sessions are “mandatory” (completing them asynchronously is OK!) our desire is not to add something else to an overflowing to-do list. We seek to provide edifying resources for contextual ministry.

This April, we are partnering with Brian Lee, Enneagram coach and founder of Broken to Beloved, to provide training on the connection between temperament and leadership malpractice. This training will explore deeper self-awareness as a tool to avoid tendencies to inadvertently perpetrate or perpetuate harm in a congregational setting. Brian’s expertise is providing resources for recovery, and he works to raise awareness and create safeguarding measures for pastors, leaders and churches who want to build healthy, trauma-informed environments.

“But It’s Just the Way I Am”: The Connection Between Temperament and Leadership Malpractice With Brian Lee

April 11, 1:00-2:30 p.m. CST

Here is the Zoom link.

If you’re unable to attend the training in person, we will send out the video afterward, and we ask that you watch it within 30 days (May 11). When you’ve completed it, fill out this form so we know you’re good to go.

Thank you to each of our clergy for the wisdom, self-sacrifice, compassion and forbearance you demonstrate on a daily basis. It is an inspiration to us!
