C4SO clergy, hopefully you’ve already explored our new platform for ongoing learning and development. On this platform, you can connect with other C4SO clergy and discover new resources for your ministry.

One of those new resources is our Emergency Preparedness program, created to help every C4SO parish respond to crisis situations. It’s our responsibility to ensure the safety of everyone who walks through our doors, and this resource is a great starting point. The program includes teaching from Trish Nelson, the Executive Pastor of Administration at Christ Church Anglican in Overland Park, along with examples and links for recruiting a team, building a plan, and communicating with stakeholders. If your church doesn’t currently have an Emergency Preparedness Plan (or if your plan could use some updating), make this program a priority this summer.
