For churches, rectors and ministry leaders, one of our key priorities must be today’s most influential generation—Gen Z, our middle school, high school and young college students. With more than a million young people stepping away from the Church each year, how do we take a step in their direction? How do we reverse the trend and see millions of young people return to Jesus and his Church?

C4SO is committed to NextGen Leadership and specifically seeks to:

  • Recognize students’ latent leadership
  • Develop students’ passions into kingdom projects
  • Send students as spiritual influencers into their communities and culture

A brand-new way for C4SO churches to recognize, develop and send the next generation of leaders is by encouraging a student to apply for the Archbishop’s School for Young Leaders (ASYL). This summer, the Rev. Aaron Buttery, C4SO’s NextGen Leader—along with the ACNA’s Next Generation Leadership Initiative team—invites C4SO students to this virtual leadership development opportunity for high school students grades 10-12 during the Provincial Council gathering, June 13-15, 2021. The goal of this online school is to call the next generation of the Anglican Church in North America, forging a partnership with NextGen leaders who will launch contextualized kingdom projects within their own communities.

We invite young leaders from any C4SO church to apply to attend the leadership school to learn, worship, network and grow as leaders.  To learn more, contact your C4SO NextGen Leader Aaron Buttery, visit ASYL, and invite the student you have recognized to apply.
