In 2022, our mission field has changed—and will continue to change with the realities of COVID, politics, sexual and gender concerns, and social justice issues. But even in our crazy world, the basic principles of kingdom mission stand unchanged. We ask C4SO churches and leaders how they are returning to these fundamentals in 2022—exegeting their mission fields, raising up leaders, engaging their communities in conversations about faith, and more!
The question from Bishop Todd that we address today is: “Since church planting is in C4SO’s DNA, how are you preparing for your next church plant? How are you rethinking church planting for our current context?”
Our guest is the Rev. Kevin Miller, Rector at Church of the Savior in Wheaton, IL. We discuss their ongoing experience of planting a new church (right before the pandemic started!), and how they are structuring their life together to support a future church plant.
