Episode: (Re-Release) David Taylor on the Role of Our Bodies in Worship

Published On: July 22nd, 2025

During these dog days of summer, we’re revisiting some of our favorite C4SO Podcast episodes! 🎉 Today we return to enjoy Bishop Todd and previous co-host Mickey Lowe’s dialogue with the Rev. Dr. W. David O. Taylor, C4SO’s Scholar in Residence for Arts, Media, Culture. The trio discusses proper Tex-Mex ingredients, Bono, and David’s book, A Body of Praise: Understanding the Role of Our Physical Bodies in Worship. By drawing on biblical wisdom, church history and theology—and the unique insights of the arts and sciences, ethics and spiritual formation—David argues that our physical bodies decisively form Christlikeness in us within the context of corporate worship.
