Episode: The Re-Missioned Church: Next Gen Ministry
In 2022, our mission field has changed—and will continue to change with the realities of COVID, politics, sexual and gender concerns, and social justice issues. But even in our crazy world, the basic principles of kingdom mission stand unchanged. We ask C4SO churches and leaders how they are returning to these fundamentals in 2022—exegeting their mission fields, raising up leaders, engaging their communities in conversations about faith, and more!
Our guest today is the Rev. Aaron Buttery, who leads C4SO’s NextGen Leadership team and serves as the Director of Student Ministry for Next Generation Leadership in the ACNA. Aaron helps us think about the following question on today’s episode, specifically as it regards Next Gen Ministry:
“Since engineering from the mission field backward, not from the tradition out, is a foundational value of C4SO, how has your mission field changed in the last two years and how are you resetting ministry priorities and practices to address that change?”
