Episode: Vanessa Sadler on Trauma-Informed Pastoral Care
Mickey and Bishop Todd are thrilled to have trauma-informed spiritual director Vanessa Sadler on the podcast discussing trauma-informed care, a practice increasingly relevant in pastoral work today. In this episode, Vanessa unpacks a definition of trauma, what trauma-informed care is, and how the Church can contribute as a place of healing for those who have experienced trauma. If you were able to attend the 2022 C4SO Clergy Retreat in Nashville, you may recall Vanessa’s impactful and inspiring presence in our whole-group sessions. Vanessa truly is a treasure, and we are so grateful for her ongoing work.
