Bishop Todd launched us in 2019 as a Task Force for Racial Diversity and Inclusion to help C4SO live into God’s kingdom vision of diversity and respond to current justice issues. Now this work is a central and permanent part of how our diocese lives out its mission in the world.
We are led by the Rev. Dr. Jin Cho, C4SO’s Canon for Racial Diversity
and Justice.

We help ensure that God’s vision for our diverse humanity both informs and drives C4SO’s work. We normalize conversations about race and justice, and train our clergy, providing resources and opportunities for growth and development. We seek to add to C4SO’s clergy of color and equip our congregations to create their own generative spaces for diversity.

To help cultivate kingdom-minded communities of diversity, we have established a Multiethnic Church Development Fund to support the work of C4SO churches committed to this vision. Learn more.

Do you deeply value diversity? Do you want to see people of different races and ethnic backgrounds worshiping, serving and taking communion together? Join our efforts to cultivate more diversity in C4SO’s leadership, clergy and congregations, while simultaneously seeking justice in the manner of Jesus.
