In 2022, our mission field has changed—and will continue to change with the realities of COVID, politics, sexual and gender concerns, and social justice issues. But even in our crazy world, the basic principles of kingdom mission stand unchanged.

Knowing this, on our podcast and in our newsletter, we will ask C4SO churches and leaders how they are returning to these fundamentals in 2022—exegeting their mission fields, raising up leaders, engaging their communities in conversations about faith, and more! “The Re-Missioned Church” content will carry throughout the year as we hear C4SO Deans and clergy answer missional questions based on C4SO’s foundational values:

  • Since engineering from the mission field backward, not from the tradition out, is a foundational value of C4SO, how has your mission field changed in the last two years and how are you resetting ministry priorities and practices to address that change?
  • How might you lead your church to engage in conversations about faith?
  • Since church planting is in C4SO’s DNA, how are you preparing for your next church plant? How are you rethinking church planting for our current context?
  • Who are your next leaders? Every clergy person should be mentoring, coaching, and encouraging potential leaders.
  • We are always safe in the Kingdom of God. How are you dealing with all the things (COVID, politics, sexual and gender concerns, and social justice issues) that rightfully make us feel unsafe? How can you teach others to have peace in a world of conflict and anxiety?

Join us as we focus on being “re-missioned” in 2022 for the sake of others! If you would like to contribute to this series, let us know.
