Episode: Vania Gomez on Identity and Calling
As part of C4SO’s celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month, co-hosts Bishop Todd and Mickey invite Vania Gomez to share her identity and calling—specifically how she stands in the middle of two cultures and seeks to “embrace the weirdness.” Vania challenges us to celebrate cultural differences and create space for conversations on embracing the diversity within the Kingdom of God.
Vania is the Pastor of Early Formation at Restoration Abbey and Special Projects Coordinator at Fuller Seminary. She also wrote a powerful article for C4SO in 2021 entitled, “What I Wish People Understood About Me as a Latina.”
